Who

Martine Laudy (1967), organisational psychologist with AVOP, and specialized in leadership-, career-, team- and organisational development. For over 25 years, I truly and passionately enjoy helping people, teams and organisations to develop through coaching, assessment, training and process-consulting for professionals and managers. I have worked both as an independent, and with various consultancy firms. From small companies to be, to bigger internationally operating consultancies. I am also a NIP certified Psychologist and certified NLP-practitioner / coach.

With my motto ‘seeing what is there’, ‘bringing what’s there to fruition’ and ‘developing continuously’, I help people, teams and organisations in recognizing their possibilities and potential, to optimally deploy these and develop further, in collaboration with their environment, in order to achieve sustainable goals and increase job satisfaction.

Coaching questions

You can rely on me for coaching questions in terms of (personal) leadership, career development and team- and organisational development. I am familiar with the context and challenges which professionals and managers in a multitude of work-processes and roles face. Mainly in knowledge-intensive organisations, and both profit and not-for-profit environments.

Work method

Working in a solution- and strength-oriented manner is the general rule for me. As such, problem- and defect-oriented thinking is not the principle, but the downside will indeed be observed – often as the flipside, or overkill of specific qualities.

Others characterize me as truly attentive, professional and involved, critical and sensitive, being clear and connecting. I often get feedback about ‘creating the right atmosphere, enabling the right things to surface’.

In a coaching trajectory, I will put you in the thinking mode (‘doing things differently starts with thinking differently’), I ask you questions in order to ascertain the ‘question behind the question’ and motivation (‘a good answer is found through a good question’), I think along with you, without taking over (so you are in the lead) and I give you concrete tools and tips for developing new skills, when necessary.

I believe in the importance of ‘soft skills’ for ‘solid results’ and I use a variety of best practices and tools for leadership, communication and collaboration.
